*** Biography of Muirín ***

In RL, with my cultural association, I organize Celtic and medieval re-enactments, and I took part in fantasy days for school children, putting myself in imaginary creatures’ shoes.
These my passions, as well as for nature, and my strong curiosity made me join into what I thought is, wrongly, an online role-playing game.
I was born in 2008, choosing a name very dear to me. I accepted a teleport and I found “myself” in an Italian sim where I started to “work” as a dancer before and later manager.
I didn’t yet know that in SL you can take photos, until a friend sent me a snapshot.
“Curious like a little cat” I immediately read up on it (sl wiki ecc) and I initially photographed events that I followed, but I was not too satisfied.
Wandering around the metaverse, I visited some lands, mostly Fantasy: all those colours, those fantastic creatures, have reignited my creativity and I liked to freeze them.
Since then I try in every place something imaginative, colorful and not… in my photos I try to “fix” the vision of my moods: but not necessarily, a picture full of colors means my “well-being”…
I love challenges, especially with myself and “with my graphics card” and for this reason I try not use photo-retouching programs external to Second Life.

Thank to Fiona Saiman, for the great trust and for always being there, near me.
Thank to my godmother, Paola Mills, for her support, especially moral, in this my challenge.

It is among us. It is within us.
It creeps into the thoughts, desires, ambitions and takes root in every corner of human relations.
It is ambiguous, subtle, poignant, always lurking.
Nobody is able to prevent it.
Extremely difficult to ignore or suppress it.
Envy, ending in its most atavistic, primordial friction arises between an advantage and a disadvantage.
Envy “positive” engine of natural competition contrasts with Envy “negative,” which Cervantes in “Don Chisciotte” associated with the “worm rodent”, envy that clouds the mind, and sometimes leads to inflict damage and pain to the object of ‘envy.
Installation, faces observant and artistic features such as Dore’s illustration for The thirteenth canto of the Purgatorio
Dante Alighieri where expiate the souls of the envious,
(With eyes and mouth sewn), a reference to Medusa,
symbol of the look “evil”, the representation
of ‘envy of Giotto in the Scrovegni Chapel, a painting titled “Hiena de Salpêtrièe” by Théodore Géricault and ceiling with Bosch Table on capital vices where envy is represented by the gaze “oblique” about a woman who is hiding.

**ALOISIO CONGREJO Biography**

I was born in Second Life on february 25 2007My passion for art has been part of my virtual life from the start, and in RL began many years ago.As an artistic ‘consumer’ there have been many artists both great and lesser known that I have folled and admired, but what is most important to me is to see the work of anyone who can craft various media in such a way as to express their feelings.In Second life I began using art to express feelings and thoughts simply as a way of playing, trying out theings that were new to me, but with simplicity and entirely for my own enjoyment.i do not think of myself as an ‘artist’ and certainly don’t consider myself an ‘inventor’ of anything groundbreaking, I create art simply for the the pleasure of creating, and if what I make brings pleasure to others, I am flattered, because I see art as a language that allows the creator and the observer to communicate, in an exchange of emotions.
My creations are a search of movement and color, in some there are used scripts of motion or otherwise, and in others the sense of motion is given by the transparency that integrate with the overlap of shapes and colors.

Dal 5 febbraio al 26 marzo 2014, di mercoledì.
E’ al via il quarto corso di ripresa, registrazione in locale con strumenti preferibilmente free ed open source e trasmissione in video streaming, organizzato da Pyramid Café TV.
Scopo del corso, completamente gratuito, è mettere tutti in grado di registrare filmati dall’interno dei mondi virtuali (ma anche da telecamera o da desktop) e trasmettere eventi in diretta attraverso un canale sulla piattaforma livestream.com (o altre alternative) ed interagire con piattaforme di video sharing come YouTube, Vimeo, KoinUp.
